2.8.7 is certain. No matter the date for 2.9. I will finalize the
schedules this week-end for 2.8.7 and 2.9 this week-end, but 2.8.7 will
be around early December.

If we are certain we are going to make a 2.8.7 release, I'll backport a
few
words patches from master to 2.8. I just did not have enough time to
backport
them, if there is a delay of 2.9 then I'll just put the new stuff I'm
working on
aside and do the backports that make sense.
