Hi Anthony, thanks for getting back to me. Here the answers to your questions/points: 1. I did not report to youe bug tracker as I thought it to be a mISDNuser problem... 2. I am using i386. 3. I saw that the Fedora package mISDN provides the required file. I could not find a package though that provided the misdn device drivers. Thus as I compiled mISDN from i4l I thought it best to compile also the corresponding userspace library to ensure compatibility. I also tried with the Fedora mISDN package + either: mISDN driver version 1.1.0b, 1.1.4 and 1.1.5. This allowed me to install callweaver but during startup it would not load the chan_misdn module: [chan_misdn.so] => (Channel driver for mISDN Support (Bri/Pri)) ERROR[3078843072]: chan_misdn.c:4505 load_module: Unable to initialize mISDN WARNING[3078843072]: loader.c:348 __load_resource: chan_misdn.so: load_module failed, returning -1 WARNING[3078843072]: loader.c:488 load_modules: Loading module chan_misdn.so failed! I found the same phenomenon described in an earlier mail to the list (Dec 14, 2006), but the suggested problem solution (to check the permissions) did not really help me. I am not sure which permissions need to be set to what.
