I think you are right. spandsp-0.0.4pre15 should avoid this problem.

We can only systematically test the software on machines we have access 
to. We have to rely on input from users, such as yourselves, to keep 
support for other platforms up to date. We try to keep things in good 
shape across multiple platforms, but it isn't always easy.

In theory one or two places, like Sourceforge, offer developers free 
access to servers of varying types for this kind of multi-platform 
testing. At one point I tried to use the Sourceforge server farm, but I 
found too many servers down for the thing to be useful.
