Daniel, We use iSoftphone as a primary handset on our laptops. It's reasonably stable under 10.4, somewhat unstable under 10.5.
Haven't done anything special: sip.conf [102] type = friend host = dynamic username = 102 secret = blahblah insecure = port, invite nat = yes canreinvite = yes qualify = yes disallow = all allow = alaw allow = ulaw context = mosais callerid = 'Wilma'<102> mailbox = [EMAIL PROTECTED] callgroup = 1 pickupgroup = 1 accountcode = 1 In the above example, iSoftphone prefs: My SIP accounts - Username/Display Name/Authorization Name all 102 Password blahblah Local SIP port 5060 Other - Send DTMF codes using RTP event (RFC2833) Haven't tried BT headsets. We usually use a Logitech USB headset which is both comfortable and provides good quality.
