I am no programmer and went just a tad bit beyond hello world in quite
a few languages starting with BASIC on my Commodore 64.

You are suggesting the guy learn to program from jump street when
there is tons of stuff already out there? Bah...

Reading code can be challenging, especially some people's stuff, but I
find it pretty easy to modify existing code to do as I want.

You will find some of it is very well documented and other stuff just
becomes like English or (insert native language) after a little
practice.

Then you will find stuff that looks like alien language. You can
always hire someone at one of the freelance sites for pretty cheap if
you can define exactly it is you need and even point them to a file or
example, that is if all else fails.

Thanks,
Steve
