Hi there,

I'm new to Callweaver after abandoning asterisk due to lack of t.38 support.
Although I thought I was getting close with t38modem, however I could not get
past compiling OPAL due to missing libexpat-1 header files.

Anyway, so far I've managed to Callweaver installed and running. It took some
trial and error to find a working combo of spandsp, libvale, and callweaver
versions.

The current winning combo I found was: Centos 5.0, spandsp-0.0.6pre12,
vale-0.0.2, and /release/callweaver-1.2.1

Ever since I've been pulling out hair (not that I have much left) editing the
sip.conf and extension.conf files.
Current status is that I've got my VSP's SIP peer showing "OK (52ms)" and my
test X-lite softphone peer showing Unmonitored.

My next objective is to be able to make an outgoing call from the X-lite
softphone to the PSTN via my sip provider. This is where I'm stuck. I suspect
I'm missing a link between my extension and a trunk. With FreePBX I had no
problems configuring this, but unfortunately I had to give up FreePBX to try
Callweaver.

Hope you can help or point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Pete
