Thank you Chadwick.

Another questions if you don’t mind answering it: For someone who will be
replacing panels, what is the best method to point the horns? Do you use a
specific layout or just move them until you get optimal coverage?

Thanks,

Mike

We have much better luck with the horns for close in and far out customers vs
the panels. That is one of the main reasons we moved from traditional sectors
to horns for all of our APs. We needed to hit customers at 1 mile and 4 miles
and our tower is 1800' above the town. Sectors could not do that. The 60 degree
horns we use have no problem at all.

Chadwick & Josh,

Thank you both for the recommendation. Do you have any problems with customers
close in or far out compared to panel antennas?

Wow, 50dB - that’s a very high front to back!

Mike

Front to back is 50dB. Come in 40 or 50 degrees (or many other options). We
use these on our 1000 and 2000 APs.

Does anyone have suggestions for a 5GHz, 45 degree sector antenna with a front
to back ratio of 30dB or better for use with an ePMP2000 radio?

Thanks,

Mike Whelan
