Granted that election process was not entirely fair because the oppositions lack access to broad media coverage like the ruling CPP. In fact, the international observers mentioned in the reports. The oppositions also got little help foreign donors like the US which gave millions of dollars to the oppositions. For example the US Democratic party and Republican party funded democracy drive Human Right headed by Kem Sokha. It was no coincident that Kem Sokha named his political party after the organization he headed. Sam Rainsy claimed the ghost votes give CPP the majority is far from certain because the pre-election polling taken by independent IRI which by the way is no friend of Hun Sen, showed the CPP has the support of 60-65 percent, that is what the CPP got in the election result. So, Mr. Rainsy has a lot of explaining to do if he wants Cambodian people to believe, that is, those who are not his hard core supporters. He has to have a good evidence to back up his excuse to boycott the swear in ceremony presided by the King, creating political instability, uncertainity and missery for the rest of Cambodian people.
