You are not wrong. It is a legacy left by Chheng  Phon. It would have been
much better if those female dancers had AK 47 strapped to their shoulders at
the same time.

I suspected that the video was made during the PKR period when the theme
ofsongs romanticised palm trees, rice fields, K5, Khmer-Vet brotherly
slavery, and anti-Pol Pot ieng Sary genocidal clique.
