Isn't this the fundamental principle that drives our modern economy and our democracy. Without the safety net, the progressive tax to help middle class majority, our recessions are deeper and longer. That is not only affecting the people in general, it also affects big corporations, wealthy individuals. Every modern Republicans implemented social programs, from Dwight Eke to Reagan, and W. Bush, no one accuses them of being a socialist because it is an American thing to do. That what makes this country great, we give help to those who need help to get start, to achieve the American dream because We American were not born princes or princess.
