The Change the World program allows donors to bring the OLPC XO to
whole classes and schools.
Donate 100 or more laptops and decide where we send them. For the
first time ever, OLPC is offering individuals, companies, and other
organizations the chance to send laptops to the country or classroom
of their choice. With a donation of 100 or more XO laptops, any group
can give children in a specific place the chance to learn, share,
dream and connect to each other and to the world.
Donors can specify a school of their choice, or participate in
existing OLPC partner country. OLPC partner countries and regions
include Haiti, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uruguay, Peru, and the UN
Palestine Refugee Camps.
$219 per laptop to recipients in OLPC partner countries and the 50
LDCs
$259 per laptop to the rest of the world
Every donation of 100 or more laptops includes spare parts. Donations
of 1,000 laptops or more are eligible on-site assistance from OLPC
staff.
