I heard in Canada form some ex pat thais that the whole standoff between Cambodia and Thailand was because there's oil in the Phnom Dangrek mountain chain. Apparently Thaksin and his crew found it some time ago. Please advise. Secondly, what is the financial relationship between Hun Sen and Thaksin in Koh Kong? Which territorial waters were given to the thai? How long ago did Cambodia have Koh Kud and the rest of the Koh Chang island chain?
