Thanx Don for your experience. The NGO's I was referring to were the one's talked about by Dr. Beat Richner who deals a weekly scathing tounge lashing on the "western experts and the institutions they represent" UNICEF etc. I've attended the weekly Saturday evening events at his Bopha childrens hospital in Siem Reap on several occasions. Richner gets upset that the very same people who tell him that a proper diagnosis system is too expensive for Cambodian children just happen to stay next door at the $300.00/night Novotel golf and country estate. Granted these are the bigshots of their respective organizations but they are funded by people like me. I like your idea of going further out into the coutryside. Anymore info would be greatly appreciated.
