Hi Dear,
Please take your free time to read and sign this petition of life or death of
our homeland Kampuchea Krom and our long lasting suffering peoples. At the
present time we, Khmer Krom people, don't have any best alternative to choose
other than urging the United Nations, all members of the international
community and all NGOs to assist and help our Khmer Krom peoples to regain
independence from Viet Nam by following the concrete and valiant example of the
East Timor people who got independence on 20 May 2002 from Indonesia after
rejecting the special autonomy proposed by the President of Indonesia. From
1999 to the present time the United Nations Special Mission still remains in
East Timor to assist and help the East Timorese people to rebuild their country
after living under the colonial power of Portugal for over two centuries since
1702 and under the colonial rule of Indonesia for almost 27 years since 1975.
Please sign the petition if you agree with
me and with the major!
ity of Khmer Krom peoples and a number of Khmer Kandal people I talked to in
several occasions. The only and only way to survive as Khmer Krom peoples on
their own ancestral territory, Kampuchea Krom is through independence, the best
form of our right to self-determination and the choice for our free
determination of our our political status as stated by Article 3 of the UN GA
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples dated 13 September 2007.
