Hi everyone. Just how bad was the typhoon in Siem Reap? The news media has said
that even land locked Laos was hit hard !!? I thought that Vietnam and maybe
just the seaside towwns of Kep and Sihanoukville were hit. I don't ever
remember hearing a typhoon going inland so far. Apparently some large trees at
the Angkor Thom temple were destroyed. Apparently my god daughters home in
Krawlann (Siem Reap) province is flooded and schools been cancelled for 2-3
weeks. Does anyone have any more info they can add or pictures. I fear that the
corrupt ones will use this to weasel money out of the foreigners and not give
it to the people who need it. Are there any NGO's rebuilding lost homes etc?
Regards, Lenny G
