Technically it will not work. The lack of trust between both men is the
main culprit. Many SRP members do not trust HRP's leader(s) because there are
so many "questions" than "answers" to their many problems.

Knowing what I know, if I were Sam Rainsy, I will go solo. HRP cannot
survive without SRP, but SRP can survive without HRP. Why accept the burdens?

Regardless, the CPP will run Cambodia with the oppositions as its alibis,
with or without the unity.

The merging between SRP & HRP is only a political game to favor the
moderate supporters but in fact it never and will not happen. If SRP & HRP
want
to unity, there are only two key persons who make decision, those are Mr.
Sam Rainsy & Mr. Kem Sokha, for other else is elsewhere because voters voted
for Sam Rainsy & Kem Sokha, not voted for others.

Today I write this email on Oct. Wen. 7th, 2009 at 12:07PM East code time
of US, so please keep your watch and by time & action you will see. They
are (Sam Rainsy & Kem Sokha) not willing to make unity but separate still
continue.

What Yim Sovann says here reflexes the sentiment of the majority of SRP
members. It simply means: come and join my party, there is no need for another
 new one.

The last sentence in the report is a shame for the so-called democrats.

Blame Kem Sos.
