There are some fine young men and women who wholeheartedly believe in
democracy until they get involved in Cambodian dog-eat-dog politics. I know a
lot of them are upset over the current electoral system, but the hardcore
problems are the immoralities of the many political leaders. Some parties are
being run like a personal business, hence they left behind all hardworking
young members who have no other place to turn to but the CPP.

Oppositions ought to do and be better in this area than the CPP. When the
oppositions are banking only on the bad things that Hun Sen and the CPP
members do, then they will continue to lose their credibility. With the money
bad people are good in Cambodian society. This is not to mention that the
CPP is controlling all infrastructures throughout Cambodia.

The "50 percents plus one" system kills all political chances of opposition
parties. That's why we see nearly all political parties are siding with
the CPP. Some work for Hun Sen clandestinely.

I agree with you...For people like you and me no where near. I am
seeing many of SMD members are holding some position within CPP ranking and
some
are going back from self exile to seek some roles for 2013 election.

Hi Lok Savun,

I am not surprised. They have nowhere to turn to. Students who side with
the CPP can find their job easier. Not what you know, but who you know that
counts. How you know it, wouldn't make any difference.
Money speaks louder than anything else. Politicians are brave only for
the money...If the price is right, their mouth is sealed.
