Human rights advocates in Cambodia say that the police had no right to burn 
down 100 houses in Bos village. Police burned the hosues to the ground in an

Both the villagers and Angkor Sugar company claim rights to the land. Before 
negotiations started, police came and started tearing down and burning houses. 
Villagers believe the operation is owned by Ly Yongphat, a member of the ruling

"They evicted us without paying us any compensation at all. We do not have 
anything to eat." said village representative Vong Veng. Ly Yongphat and Angkor 
Sugar Company could not be reached for comment.

for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. The vote is 
91-21 with 29 abstentions.
