Here are possible future scenarios for Thai-Cambodia conflicts: 1. Taksin Shinawatra will use Tuol Krasaing as his HQ to connect his Red-shirt supporters 2. Indo-China states will support Taksin's struggle to regain power in Thailand. 3. Asean will be dissolved, as conflicts will continue, Lao, Cambodia and Vietnam will win Thai will lose unless USA/EU/China intervention. 4. Thai with their NSC (National Security Council) are mapping out long term strategy to deal with this deadly clashes, Thai knows well the Indo-China states have the same line of strategy ( read commentary in Bangkok Post ). There is no military confrontation as time being, because both side know very well the ramification of such actions, lately Hun Sen downed play by sending his military Commander Chea Dara to inform Thai that Cambodian side is withdrawing special forces from the conflict area a head of time before any international inspections, the longer these special forces stationed with ongoing conflicts, THAI will know who they are, Thai knows more than Khmers the march to the West. Because of public and other international communities did not listen very carefully to the warning speech of Hun Sen who had said, please do not prosecute other Khmer rouge leaders, the civil war is going to happen, he worked so hard to bring these people from the jungle and putting them in his portfolio.Hun Sen knows the conflict between Cambodia and Thai would be inevitable, because it is a strategy which was pre-planned for long time, one day when the time is right the Thai is next, now it is the time . So,the KR leaders are protected and well taken care of, who want to be rebellion against Hun Sen. Nobody else that Thai will rely on to be Khmer Nationalist to fight against the occupation of Vietnam. The question is will Cambodia live in peace ? the answer is NO as long as Cambodia live under protectorship of Hanoi, the genuine peace and real stability will never happen.
