Without French at that time, The kingdom would not survive . Thank to
French for saving Cambodia from the brink of extinction  French had
brought it back to light reviving all institutions and sealing off the
kingdom from East and West molestations. Of course, colonial interest
is their prime, but we survived from that turmoil. As you know we are
the champion of blaming others beside ourself, the blaming immunity is
our culture, that why we could not find what is right and what is
wrong . Personally, I love to blame other thing that does not relevant
to the subject, for example, because of Veasana, Kam-phal or Prum
likhet etc. During colonial area, the seating French Residence
Superior and their administrators were most young intellectual and
scholars who are hungry to explore and research the new worlds .
Please read the background of those individuals who wrote khmer
