Comarade Sihamoni decended from his seat to come down and waited the
Vietnamese comarade Nong Duch Manh at his car and walked him upstair under two
golden embarellas . This job is reserved for a long rank official assigned to
do .... but between Comarades and relatives ( Sihamoni's grand ma annamite Mme
Pomme Peang ), it's a matter between Vietnamese .
Remember the old days when Cambodia has First Prime Minister Ranariddh and
Second Prim Minister Hun Sen?
This time we see First Comarade Sihamoni and Second Comarade Nong Duch Manh.

"[Nong Duc Manh] invited King Sihamoni and his father Sihanouk to visit Vietnam
again, and the invitation was accepted with pleasure"Vietnam will do its utmost
to promote its traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with
Cambodia, Party leader Nong Duc Manh told King Norodom Sihamoni during their
talks in Phnom Penh on December 17.
He said he was happy to return to Cambodia and meet with King Sihamony who has
succeeded his father, Norodom Sihanouk, in reigning in the royal nation, and
made a great contribution to maintaining and developing the Vietnam-Cambodia
relationship.
He praised Cambodia’s recent important achievements, and expressed the hope
that under the reign of the King and the clear-sighted leadership of the
Senate, the National Assembly and the Royal government, the Cambodian people
would make greater achievements in national development to build Cambodia into
a peaceful, independent, neutral, non-aligned and prosperous nation.
He thanked the Cambodian people for their support for Vietnam in the past and
at present, especially in creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese
nationals to live, study and work in the country.
King Sihamoni welcomed Mr Manh’s visit as an important event to promote the
traditional neighbourliness, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between
Cambodia and Vietnam.
The King congratulated Vietnam on its Renewal and international integration
achievements and expressed the belief that under the leadership of the
Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people will make further progress in
national industrialisation and modernisation.
He thanked Vietnam for providing valuable support and assistance to Cambodia in
its past struggle for national liberation and its current process of national
construction. He affirmed that the Vietnamese people are great and trusted
friends of the Cambodian people.
He said he will continue with the noble cause of his father, Norodom Sihanouk,
to cement solidarity, friendship and cooperation with Vietnam.
Both host and guest affirmed their determination to strengthen Vietnam-Cambodia
partnership, considering it an invaluable asset and an important factor behind
the growth of the two nations.
They agreed to maintain the exchange of high-level visits to expand
people-to-people diplomacy and all-round cooperation between the two countries.
They welcomed the two governments’ efforts to effectively implement cooperation
agreements, especially those on border issues, and affirmed their mutual
resolve to complete land demarcation and landmark planting in 2012.
They agreed to pursue a foreign policy of peace, friendship and cooperation
with all countries, including their neighbours.
Mr Manh presented to King Sihamoni 100 sets of computers and 100 TV sets made
in Vietnam as gifts to the Cambodian people and students.
He invited King Sihamoni and his father Sihanouk to visit Vietnam again, and
the invitation was accepted with pleasure.
