Mr. Sam Rainsy forgets that system also works for him and the privileged few like him who can often ask for royal pardon and get. It is fair to say the stupidity of the CPP for not letting Rainsy shenanigans at the Cambodia-Vietnam border quietly go away. Instead they dragged it into Cambodian much discredited justice system. Which is just what Mr. Rainsy and his men wanted, as much noise they hope for to counter Hun Sen monopoly of recent months. Rainsy shenanigan was crude and a shameless politically calculated move but it worked, the CPP bit it.
