Lainxy made a lot of wrong major moves. The only way I can compare him is to Murong Fu in Jin Yong novel "Demi God, Semi Devil" who was trying to reestablish the Yan dynasty while Lainxy want to become Cambodia' Prime Minister just like his father. There is nothing wrong whatsoever of his ambition, but some of strategic moves were/are complete screw ed up.
In the 90's, Lainsy and Xihanouk were against Hun Xen's offensive operations against the KR. And he chose Candle light as his party logo. He then turn around admitting some KR into his organization. Thse two always think that most cambodians are a bunch of fools. Lately, after pulling those posts, he is kind of worried and is trying to come up with damage recovery plans. Again and again, he still believe that only Sihanouk can come to his rescue. So, in order to have Xihanouk involved in this, he made a statement blaming the 18 March to attract Xihanouk and then send a letter to make him aware of the border issues with Vietnam. Xihanouk seems to be pleased by these Lainsy's statements and forgetting that he(Xihanouk) himself has a great fear of Hun Xen and send a letter to Hun Xen to take care of the border issues. That will make Hun Xen fumed and the start of of arrest orders. Xihanouk wash his hand clean by telling that it is the court matters and he could not do anuthing to help Lainxy out of these messes. By the end and like Murong Fu, Lainsy will be at Seine riverbank with Ms Sayonara and Sochea by his side, proclaiming himself as Cambodia's Prime Minisister. On the otherside of the river, the three cons artists and cartoonist are watching and listening to Lainxy grieves.
