La création de l’Association des chimistes du Cambodge représente un pas en
avant dans le traitement des problèmes générés par une mauvaise maîtrise des
technologies.

L’Association des
chimistes du Cambodge (CCS) a tenu son premier séminaire du jeudi 19 au
vendredi
20 août, avec la participation d’une centaine de professeurs en chimie
travaillant dans l’enseignement secondaire et supérieur. Ce forum est la
première manifestation officielle de l’association après son enregistrement au
ministère de l’Intérieur.
Le thème « La chimie et la vie » a permis au Dr. Sieng Huy, directrice de la
CCS, de présenter les axes de travail de la nouvelle communauté, et promouvoir
l’approche générale de la science et de la technologie, ainsi que
l’enseignement
et la pratique de la chimie. « Nous rassemblons les membres du corps
scientifique, et notamment les chimistes, afin de définir les perspectives
d’avenir et les axes à développer pour cette discipline », a déclaré Sieng
Huy.
Le séminaire a été un moyen de faire le point sur les problèmes liés à la
chimie dans la société. Ainsi, l’hygiène alimentaire, la contamination de la
viande de porc, l’utilisation d’engrais chimiques dans le domaine agricole,
l’alcool… de nombreux cas de figure ont été évoqués et discutés par des
intervenants spécialisés.
Cette structure voit le jour au moment où le Royaume remet en question son
utilisation des pesticides, et fait face à un problème de contamination de la
viande de porc.

As of today,Cambodia is still occupied by the Vietnamese troops despite the
call from the US president to Vietnam to cease her occupation of Cambodia since
1988.
Cambodia needs Independence from Vietnam and the Vietnamese invaders.
Vietnam must cease her occupation of Cambodia at once.
