Forcing people to give up their land for develpment is wrong. However, we cannot use the word "land grab" to describe the situation in Cambodia. The government of Cambodia put a vision into reality. They want to develop their country into a new era. That's why they have been promoting development in the rural area and in urban cities. This action ofcourse would touch some lives where they may be forced to resettle. We have seen it happening all of these times. Land grabbing do occurs in America in the name of the interest of the community. Abandon properties have been bought by communities around the country and give them to developers. Is it fair? Ofcourse not. However, civic leaders around the world use it to promote growth.
