Please allow me to apologize first if the following comments will
offend you some how.

I look at the Cambodian buddhist belief as a surface believers.
If they had this core believers all along, they didn't kill or torture
people as they did during the Khmer Rouge era.
My friend,
Khmer Rouge cadres and all levels of khmer rouge officials were all
Cambodians, especially they were Cambodian peasants. If they had that
core belief, they could have done it. Unfortunately, they did it.
So their belief was their opportunity. They do it when it benefit
them. They abolish it when it doesn't benefit them. That's the truth.
