This subject is being discussed and debated among khmers and scholars . But no answer even historian David Chandler has no answer. Will the khmer rouges leaders whom being tried right now will tell the truth who was mastering the killing and destroying the country ? The stigma of war, killing field and invasion have made Cambodian shied away from the reality and attempting to blame other people . From 1970 up today, khmer cannot unite among themselves, only the winners are united and solidified with the support from foreigners, the losers are decomposed into a small piece of grouping . The losers are imploring help from ouside world because khmers are less concerned about them.Khmer does not belive khmer.Lack of understanding, deficiency of mindfulness are the core element of khmer mind, rather live under other people than live together with their own's kind..
