THE PARIS PEACE ACCORDS ON CAMBODIA OF 23 OCTOBER 1991 IS ABOUT THE "CEASE FIRE " AMONG , THE VIETNAMESE TROOPS (CPP OR 7 MAKARA VIET TROOPS OF AGGRESSION ) AND FUNCINPEC, SON SANN'S GROUP , AND THE KHMER ROUGE TROOPS.
19 YEARS LATER , THIS AGREEMENT ON "THE CEASE FIRE" DOES NOT WORK , THIS IS THE REASON , ALL KHMER ABROAD IS ORGANIZING THESE DEMONSTRATIONS, THAT MAY LEAD TO MORE TROUBLES IN CAMBODIA AND VIETNAM. WHY ? THE FACTS ARE: FOR CAMBODIA . VIETNAM CONTINUES TO OCCUPY CAMBODIA 1979-2010 Strong Resolution on Cambodia Human Rights Abuses Feb. 27, 1982 : UN Commission on Human Rights meeting in Geneva adopted a resolution condemning Vietnam’s occupation of Cambodia as a violation of Cambodian human rights. The vote was 28 in favor, 8 against, and 5 abstentions. Oct. 21, 1986 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote of 116-21 with 13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces from Cambodia. 10 UN RESOLUTIONS,(1979-1988) VOTED BY 116 UN MEMBER COUNTRIES ,CALL VIETNAM TO CEASE HER OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA & REMOVE ALL HER TROOPS FROM THE COUNTRY, ARE NOT RESPECTED AS OF TODAY. Oct. 21, 1986 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote of 116-21 with 13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces from Cambodia. President Reagan's address to the 43d Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York,September 26, 1988. "Mr. Secretary-General, there are new hopes for Cambodia, a nation whose freedom and independence we seek just as avidly as we sought the freedom and independence of Afghanistan. We urge the rapid removal of all Vietnamese troops ...." As of today,Cambodia is still occupied by the Vietnamese troops despite the call from the US president to Vietnam to cease her occupation of Cambodia since 1988. Cambodia needs Independence from Vietnam and the Vietnamese invaders. Vietnam must cease her occupation of Cambodia at once. Washington, DC – Monday, October 18, 2010: We are, the Cambodians, and Cambodian- Americans, and Friends from Virginia, Maryland, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, Road Island, Massachusetts, others are proudly hosting the Rally in front of the Headquarters, United Nations to commemorate the 19th Anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreement on Cambodia on the 23rd October 1991 (PPA of 1991). At the same token; we strongly condemn Vietnam and Thailand that have violated the PPA of 1991, Agreement Concerning the Sovereignty, Independence, Territorial Integrity and Inviolability, Neutrality and National Unity of Cambodia on Articles II & IV which they have signed. We appeal to all signatory nations & UN to reconvene and reinforce the PPA of 1991, and as well as to all Cambodians, Cambodian-Americans, and Friends around the world to take no nonsense answer from the violators (Individuals, and States). Vietnam has beached the PPA of 1991 on Articles II & IV by: Interfering Cambodia’s internal political affair and stability. Annexing our borders and border encroachments that forced the Opposition Leader to self-exile and Hun Sen’s Government has imprisoned some innocence Farmers. Illegal treaties between Vietnam and Cambodia (1979, 1982, 1983, 1985, and Supplemental Treaty of 2005); they violated the PPA of 1991 and National Sovereignty. Flooding of illegal Vietnamese Immigrants into Cambodia. Thailand has beached the PPA of 1991 on Articles II & IV & International Court of Justice by: Illegally invaded the vicinity of Preah Vihear Temple of Cambodia, which is the violation International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling on 15 June 1962 on Preah Vihear, Cambodia. Violated the PPA of 1991 on Articles II & IV. Cambodia: Cambodia Government has failed to exercise its rights under the PPA of 1991. Phnom Penh Government—Hun Sen, King Sihanouk and King Sihamoni, Members of Senates have failed to fulfill their Constitutional Duties.
