Khmer Rouge propaganda alway brag about how bad Cambodian peasants had been. They were slaves of other class for many generation endlessly. They passed on their poverty stage from one generation to another. Now, they were free by the revolution of Angkar. Think about this for a moment, and look back at Cambodia then. Was it true that Cambodian peasants passed on their poverty from one generation to another endlessly? Was it true that Angkar brought them out of that stage? My friend, That was Cambodia then. And it is today. Many of those ruling class like Sam Rainsy had it all. Then they lost it. Now, they want it back. No others can have it.
