If Samdach Decho Hun Sen step down or die because of cancer, who is going to be a new master of the kingdom ? Historically speaking during the 18th centurey, when King Ang Chan died Hue had a tough time to choose the successor at that time the princes are pro-Thai (Ang Duong and Ang Sguon), but the princess were suitable to reign under command of Viet's officials.So Princesses Ang Mei and Ang Peou were crowned. Today is different from the past, Hanoi would not repeat its mistake since million of their compatriotes (Vietnamese citizen ) are living in the kingdom. The successor of Hun Sen will not be his son, Hun Manet is not Hanoi top choice, it has to be somebody else. There will be no power struggle among CPP member, they are very dispilne and very obedient, because the stake are high for their life and dead.
