Actually, I was thinking about this lately.
Before, Cambodian society was segrated into classes. Part of it still
exists today.
However, you would see a very different Cambodian society after
Cambodians experienced a short three years of communism.
Today, we see people from rural areas looking for works in the city to
better their families. Many others started small business, which we
had never heard off in the past.

This is the worse part of the Cambodian society. Honestly, I believe
that racism has improved alot too in Cambodia. Cambodians in the US
and other countries are very different.
Khmer Rouge regime tought people alot about their own society and what
they can do. Peasants had realized how they had destroyed their
country when Khmer Rouge lifted them up to be superior race. Now, all
people are searching for opportunities to make it better for their own
families.
In the United States, it's not easy to live. However, equal
opportunities allow people to find what to do with their own likes or
dislikes. That's why America is great. I strongly believe that
Cambodians are on that track today.

Many Cambodian politicians are still using power for their own first
before their own nation.
I mean that Cambodians are still promoting corruption.

Cambodians are so busy fighting each other for power so they can
corrupt and to practice the culture of impunity. National security
only surfaces when things happen like the clash at Thai border.
Otherwise, their own businesses are up front .

Cambodia is not different.

Have you ever heard people trying to explain who Cambodians are or not
etc....?
That's not an isolated incident. It's the problem of Cambodia
