It's a sorry state that the opposition in Cambodia's parliament is plagued with problems. To keep the government from becoming a dictatorship, the opposition must not only exist but also be effective. It seems that the problems that threaten to destroy the opposition stem from the behavior of Sam Rainsy himself. For example, he turns to foreigners, instead of the Cambodian people in Cambodia, to help him fight the government. It appears that he forgets that it's the Cambodian people in Cambodia, not the foreigners, who choose and elect the government of Cambodia.
No wonder other opposition parties have no willingness to unite with his party to form an effective opposition.
