Khmer separatist are resistance to Cambodian social evolution. Cambodia’s inhabitants are designated in English “Cambodian”, and in Khmer “Chun-Kampuchea” or “Kampuchun”. This way, Cambodian of all nationality would agree and accept Cambodia’s citizenship, regardless of Khmer or none Khmer ethnic exclusion.
But when we call them Khmer, only a fraction of Cambodia’s inhabitants have believed its but majority thinks no: I’m none Khmer individuals; I’m hybrid with new face Cambodian. They know for sure they can not change their origin to Khmer’s even though they want to. People can change citizenship, but never be able to get done on their nationality. For now most Cambodian in the country are politically forced to be Khmer self-proclaimed or in other words compelled to be Khmer due to the malicious Cambodian constitution, that has wrongly been translated certain English clauses from Paris’s international accord text on Cambodia in1991, adopting false “Khmer citizen” in place of “Cambodian citizen”, which has been internationally nominated Cambodia’s inhabitants without discriminating of origin of birth. Calling Khmer citizen in English term is none sense, as Khmer is not the official name of the country, for which the sole title is Cambodia (Kampuchea), its people, is Cambodian, Chun-Kampuchea in Khmer in relevance to the country formal name Kampuchea (Cambodia) Cambodian is mainstream inhabitant, (multi-ethnic/hybrids), which have never accepted to be of what is not his own kind. But they are politically obligated to keep quiet and apprehensive of what they are forced to be bearing Khmer. They have a security doubt on where they are living, because they feel foreigners on their own homeland. This is the reason why people just want to immigrate for living in other countries, where there is more acceptances with more freedom of expression. If it’s impossible to do so, people will be eager to get secret corruption for a quick-rich or a quick-powerful so that they could make money they may possibly send their kids oversea for better education in a real freedom ship environment experience. Believe not, please look at all children of government high ranking officials, where they have been gone for studying and what they are doing when they are coming back, they would be in the top team, so that they could make themselves top politicians, for helping change the country for bringing back Cambodian citizenship to its own place in Cambodian constitution. There have been more than 3/4 million Cambodian living abroad. They fled the country following Khmer rouge’s purge 1975-1979. Now they have been generated to at least 1 and1/2 million. 80% of their children are high school graduated and at last 50% of them have collage degree. 99% of them are becoming citizens of the country they are living, where there are adequate health care along with freedoms of expression, freedoms of choice, and freedoms of belief. Most of them even dare to pronounce things louder than ever. A lot said: I don’t like to participate where there are a lot of ethnic Khmer, although I’m used to be Khmer self-proclaimed, but em’s not. Khmer organization are always having troublesome due to the fact they name themselves “Khmer”, which does not represent a broad range of all Cambodia’s inhabitants, namely Cambodian (Chun-Kampuchea), unlike flourishing Lao’s, Thai’s, Vietnamese’s, Korean’s and Chinese’s associations. Please be understood that individual speaks Khmer could not be Khmer, equally who speaks English could not be Briton. This is a clear persistent weakness of Cambodian Nation that had never been officially calling its people in Khmer ‘Chun-Kampuchea”( Cambodian) since Khmer empire had long been fragmented into its disappearance. If this permanent weakness is left unfixed, its will turn catalyst monster that would be completely divided our whole Cambodian Nation. For now, we the people of Cambodia need a formal binding nominated name Chun-Kampuchea (Cambodian) for all Cambodia’s inhabitant with a strong leadership that truly understand what is social evolution, world order and people anger time bomb, which is ready to explode anytime for claiming that all men are created equal with freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, freedom of belief and free human dignity within a new constitutional reform needed. Recent events example are: Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain; and Thailand would be next. Cambodian leaders should understand how to preventing its from happening, as a lot young Cambodian generations have been collage graduated. And keep in mind that more education means more rational understanding, or in other words more logical reasoning which has nothing to do with very old version of Khmer culture heritage foundation self-evaluated as highly superior. But this is what we need now: 1-We the people of Cambodia are Cambodian citizens (Chun-Kampuchea). 2-The state of Cambodia is from Cambodian for Cambodian. 4-The state is separated from religion which is solely belonging to the people. 5-All men are created equal with freedom of expression.
