Lauk Savun and Lauk James,

I am in Cambodia right now.  A lot of Khmer youth have no good guidance.  We
are the lost soul people.  On TV, yes the government did try to promote
democracy, but there were more heavy advertisements which attracted Khmer
youth  the most are, BEER(Sra Khnom, Protess Yuon), Beer, Beer and more Beer.
Then Whiskey, Whiskey and more Whiskey.  Can you believe it, even Mr. Hennessy
great grand son came into the lost soul country of Cambodia to promote Hennessy.

After real  Beer and Whiskey have less affect on the whole of lost soul's Khmer
population, Yuon have mixed a little bit of ANDRIN into Khmer local Whiskey to
make the lost soul Khmer population spin when they consumed it.

The third step was, they went into hard cheap drugs from Thailand such as YA BA
etc... and then hard core heroin.

I suggest to all you gentlemen on Camdisc or anywhere around the world to
return back to Cambodia to help reduce the pain of our Khmer youth who have
lost their soul without realising it.

James,

Many so-called "NGO" in Cambodia are the organizations with a mission and goal
to find funding for their salary.  Their strategy and goals is to create an NGO
looking for grants and then working along with people who’s in power.  Many of
NGO leaders, first working NGO and then seek for a position in Government.

Are they understanding what they are calling “Democracy” . The answer is NO. If
they don’t understood “Democracy”. Are the Khmer kids is understanding it?

I don’t believe in Democracy, because Democracy system has no accountability.
I believe in Republic Systems, because the rule of law account for.

I don’t see Cambodia will move beyond “The Poor Development country “in my life
time.  The system required to change now in order to take roots in the next 50
years to come.
