Socialism is not that bad, especially when it is practiced in a "democratic" country.
Many democratic societies in Europe do have "socialist" policies, and they are doing just fine. Frankly, I think it is a worthy cause to help the poor. I have heard from the Big Mouse Politi-Chien, anti-Obama person, had saying Obama is a communist. This guy is nothing but a political propaganda machine generated by the right wing conservative against Obama for the 2012 election. Although, I too do not like Obama but this witty propaganda kind of degrades my intellect, to say the least. The founding fathers of this county know very well how a group of politicians in power can be corrupted. That is where the check and balance come from and the term limits for all the politicians because they know that "Politicians, like diapers, have to be changed frequently - and for the very same reason.
