Cambodia may be better now than it had ever been for a long time. Yet, Cambodia is still Cambodia. Cambodians have not changed. They are still the same.
When we look back the reason why we left Cambodia, that reason still exist today. My friend, Cambodia is still Cambodia today despite their resurection from death. Cambodians still kill each other for power. Cambodians still sucks blood from one another. It's very hard for us to see the power and the rich suppress the poor and the powerless. Wasn't it why Cambodians got themselves in self destruction a few decades ago? You are right. Cambodians still have the same mentality to practice the same culture today. They only think about the culture of impunity. They sucks blood of their own people for their own gain. We are not just talking about the power and the rich. We are talking about the culture of the Cambodian society as the whole. They are accepting it. They have had it in their hearts. They have not abandoned it even after their self destruction to ground zero. Now, they are doing it stronger than ever before.
