In 1860 King Mongkut (1851-1868) ordered Khmer Stone temple disassebled and reconstruct in Thai soil, no one know about his motive.Then the King ordered his Minisster Phra Suphanphisan with 2,000 in total to deconstruct Prasat Taprum on the ninth day of the six lunar month 1860.Seeing thieves stole stone from the temple Khmer people came out of forest ( Thai called them Phrai, Wild people ) attacked Thai's thieves and killed their leaders such as Pra Suphaphisan and his son, Pra Wang and other two were injured, Pra Mahattai and Pra Yokrabat.King Mongkut gave up his plan to disassemble the stone he ordered his people to construct a small model of Angkor Wat temple complex at Wat Prah Keo ( The temple of Emerald Buddha ) and the miniature of Angkor Wat Temple still remains to this day.( Charnvit Kasetsiri ).
