Unfortunately, some others may do it against CNRP. What are they going to do then? >“We will only change the leadership. We will reform our country according to the democratic process.” > > What kind of leadership does CNRP have to offer? Sam Rainsy? He is a coward who can't even stay with his own constituents. He loves his heated home in France. He even lied to his own people that he was coming home soon. That was more than two years ago. CNRP president Sam Rainsy, who has been living in self-imposed exile in France since 2009, is barred by the Cambodian authorities from contesting the elections due to convictions that he says were politically motivated and for which he faces a total of 11 years in prison. > This is the fact. Cambodian government never barred Sam Raimsy from returning to Cambodia. They never had. Sam Rainsy ran away because he is afraid to live in jail. That's the problem. >On Thursday, he told RFA’s Khmer Service that he would be unable to return to the country before the elections, despite previously suggesting that an agreement would be reached between the CNRP and Hun Sen’s government allow him to take part in the polls. > We knew then, and we know it now. Sam Rainsy was hoping that he was allowed to return without any consequences. CPP did what they wanted to do. It was to get rid of Sam Rainsy. And they did. >Sam Rainsy said that it was more important to the future of the country that he remains free, instead of going to jail and “falling into Hun Sen’s trap.” > I strongly believe that Sam Rainsy is afraid fo being arrested, not that it is important that he is free. Sissy Sam Rainsy is nothing more than Sam Rainsy himself. He has no courage to fight for anything. >“I must evaluate the situation—I want to protect my security and freedom to struggle for my country,” Sam Rainsy said, adding that the election results would determine his fate. > > How much more does Sam Rainsy need to study? It's very clear that Sam Rainsy is afraid of being arrested. Nothing else. That's a coward act of a leader who promised his constituents to fight for a cause. Ofcourse, we know now. He really meant that he would fight if he is not touched. That's a coward act. “In just another month we will see a difference like black and white, when the voters become the owners of the country and have the right to define their own fates … The problem that [the government] has caused me will eventually be resolved.” > > Just keep your fingers crossed. You will win................NOT. He said that his absence will not affect the results of the election and vowed to continue his party’s push for election reforms to reduce the potential for fraud during the vote. > > If Sam Rainsy is a true leader for the country, he is not just attacking his opponent. A great leader has a vision for the country. What kind of vision does he have? We only see how he hates his own people, one way or another. If he is a great leader, he would have shown his ability to produce programs that would promote growth for the country. Then he would win handeldly. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Listen to Sam Rainsy speeches yourself. What kind of substance does he have to offer? Ofcourse, he always chose the obvious. He would show how bad it has been in Cambodia under CPP. He would hate his own government because he is not the leader or prime minister. Nothing is good out of Cambodia except a vision under Sam Rainsy leadership. Will Cambodians take his side? We'll see. For me, Sam Rainsy has no chance. Cambodia has come a long way whether you like it or not. There are millions of voters who choose to be apart of CPP because they see with their own eyes the transformation of Cambodia til today. Sam rainsy doesn't see what they see because everything is black to him unless it's under his rule. That's wrong. Hence he would never win. The Cambodian people are not stupid. But Cambodia Center for Human Rights (CCHR) director Ou Virak said that the opposition leader’s announcement that he will not return to Cambodia would hurt the CNRP and weaken its support base. > > That's very true. CNRP leader is a coward. That's all. By the way, if you think about Human rights. Look at China. How many years did UNHCR blasted China for violating human rights? What has China done regarding to the accusation? They have been doing the same thing until today? What happened to the UNHCR? Quieter? You judge it. “If he returns ahead of the election, his support will increase,” he said. > >“If authorities arrest him, he will become a Cambodian hero, which would force the government to talk with him.” > > This is where I have been talking about. Sam rainsy has no courage to do such thing because he loves his life in Paris. He enjoys hating his own people. He loves to yell the hates against Cambodia. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cambodia Discussion (CAMDISC) - www.cambodia.org" group.
