CNRP believe that the mass demonstration is their support, I believe that it gives the government tools to suppress CNRP instead. Their momentum will help them win in the future. People are getting tire of this old regime, CPP. If they destroy that chance NOW , they will loose. then they allow cpp to adjust their agenda. CNRP will have difficult time to gain.
