Let us take a look at the history of Cambodia. Sihanouk lead Cambodia for more than a decade in the 60s. Vietnamese didn't swallow and Cambodian land. Only Sihanouk and his clan who tried to destroy some other Cambodian factions. Lon Nol lead Cambodia from 1970 to 1975. Vietnamese didn't swallow Cambodia. Only Cambodians who fought each others in their own country. Beside, only Cambodians who corrupt and put the culture of impunity on Cambodians themselves. Khmer Rouge lead Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. Vietnamese didn't swallow Cambodia. Yet, Cambodians killed millions of their own people in their own country with their own hands. Vietnamese invaded and stayed in in Cambodia from 1979 to 1988. Yet, Vietnamese didn't swallow Cambodia. Once again, Cambodians still fought and killed each others in their own country while Vietnamese occupied their nation. A new world order came to control Cambodia from 1993 until today. Yet, Cambodians still blaming each other of cooperating with Vietnamese. Many Cambodians still talk about Vetnamese swallowing Cambodia.
The above statement is a real story. Cambodians have been talking about how much Vietnamese wants to take over their own country. Yet, the history shows how much they have destroyed their own country with their own hands. We are not saying that Vietnamese have not been trying to swallow Cambodia. Today, it is very obvious that that story should not be the forefront of the Cambodian policies. The real problem is the querrels among Cambodian factions. For example, Sam Rainsy and his CNRP are saying that they want to rebuild Cambodia. Listen to what they are saying. They want the people to rise up against the current government. They want the international community to stop helping Cambodia so the current government is chokeded. They hope that the current government would give up to favor them. Their demand may be legitimate, and we're not trying to dispute that for the moment. We're saying that Cambodians don't look at their priority and the interest of their own country first. Each factions stand on their own ground bullying into power. We have seen it in the history from the 60s til today. The same thing happens all the time. They destroy one another for power. The interest of their nation is never be at the front of the headline. Khmer Rouge destroyed Cambodia to ground zero with their own Cambodian hands. Different factions fought for their own individual rightiousness. The international community and the UN spent BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to put Cambodia in order to a point. Now, Cambodians are trying to return to the beginning. They are asking the world to help them again for their own illnesses. It's even worse yet when they asked the world community , not to recognize the Cambodian government. I don't know what they think. My friend, I don't live in Cambodia and care more or less if Cambodians are wiped out of the world map. What I'm saying is this. Cambodians have not defending their own country at all if they love their country so much as they say. They are so busy fighting each other. They are so busy weakening their own country. They are so busy in their own individual ideology. They have forgotten completely that they are vulnerable to outside woes due to all of their own activities against each other in their own country. CNRP could have been better if they took their own seats in the current congresss. They won those seats. Yet, they decided to protest and took themselves out of it thinking that they would win bigger. The reality is that the protested against irregularity, which means an uncertainty. Everything counts. CNRP hopes that they would win big. In reality is that they have taken themselves out of the seat that they won already. Current government has not taken any action again those ELECTED CONGRESSMEN OR WOMEN yet. They could have deam that those congressmen or women denied their elected seats. So a new one can be seated by whateve the laws of Cambodia allow. Then CNRP wouldn't just loose the irregularity in the election. They will loose what they have already won because their stupidity.
