What is justice in the Cambodian society? Is it justice that people believe in in many countries around the world? Or is it justice that people in Cambodia believe in?
I believe you just answered that it should be the justice that many countries believe in. Let us look at it for a moment. Cambodians said that they believe in laws abiding and justice. Is it justice when a group of workers demanding something from a private owned factory? Is it justice when a group of workers destroyed private properties in their anger? is it justice when a group of workers void their contracts and demand a private owners to give them something? The answer for me should be "NO" So, today Cambodians really don't want justice that many countries have adapted. However, they use that name and include their alleged being victimized to gain support from the world so they can fulfill what they are demanding. To me, that is wrong. That's called bullying. Now, let us look at Sam Rainsy. He's claiming that his party is cheated. We all understand it clearly. No one has ever disputing that. However, the world has shown their expression already that Cambodians must work it out to resolve the problem. They believe in having an indepent investigation to find the truth. The world said it clearly that they want Cambodians to resolve the matter. What they believe doesn't matter. Cambodians must resolve the matter themselves. The world cannot put their hands into Cambodian internal matter. Unfrotunately, Sam Rainsy did not like it. He is still pushing the world to put pressure on Cambodian governemnt to change their mind. Is it good for Cambodia? As I've said many times, Sam Rainsy and his party was in a winning path. Unfortunately, the leader wants it now, not tomorrow. Then what is the consequences? I strongly believe that they will bend and join the government. At that point, they will loosing their strongest support one at a time. The reason is that they set their goal so high that they can't meet. There is no point of return now. They decided to abandon their seats in the current assembly that they have already won. They also are trying to gain the seats that they believed that they have won. Will it work for them? My opinion is solely mine. Sam Rainsy and his party will loose again. He will never win because that is Sam Rainsy.
