I'm not trying to put anyone on the spot for any reasons here. The matter lays on facts alone. Let's look at the fact. There is a king reside over everything even if he doesn't have any power. Who choose the king? Let's look at the prime minister who is elected by the majority of the house representatives. How can it be a democratic process? Let's look at the provincial and city leaders who are appointed and run the country by the rule of whoever run the country. How can all of these things lead to deomocracy? Beside, Cambodians have been fighting each other for power. Once one loose the election, they claimed that the election had been rigged. It depends on whom you are talking to whether the election was rigged. Cambodians have the history of blaming each other for this and that etc....... because each individual group wants the power to themselves. That's where the money and elitess are. Cambodians love impunity. They see impunity as noble. They see people get rich from their job by praising as fortunate people. They praise officials because god had given them noble path to success. Then they hate them when their lives didn't go as they wanted. Then they turned to fight one another. Look at the history of Cambodia. They have been fighting each other all the way to ground zero. Then they blame every countries on earth but themselves. They blame USA with Kissinger, Vietnam, Thailand, China etc...... except Cambodia. The fact was that the rulers were Cambodians and they governed Cambodia, their own country. Many people said that oh those people were influenced by other nation. So they have to blame that country. For example, they believe that CPP has been influenced by Vietnamese. Hence, they blame Vietnamese for anything in Cambodia. Cambodians themselves shall not be responsible. This is pathetic. Now, they are rising again against their own people in their own country. Whom are they going to blame then? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cambodia Discussion (CAMDISC) - www.cambodia.org" group.
