If we really look at politics around the world including the one in the Us, public opinion has never been a part of anything to resolve any obstacle in politics. Look at At Gore vs George w Bush, public opinion was a major obstacle itself. Al Gore received the most popularity in the general election. Unfortunately Al Gore Lost electoral college count to win for the presidency of the us. If means that popularity is not a major factor in solving electoral irregularities. Looking back to Cambodian irregularities of their last election is something that all parties should see the interest of the nation, not public opinion. The spirit of negotiation should be the main focus to resolve current Cambodian political crisis. If each parties stand on their own ground, the negotiate on doesn't mean anything. Public opinion shall not be a part of it if they really want to resolve the crisis via an honest & pen negotiation,
It means that all parties should not have any conditions as they walk into that negotiation. Here's my opinion. I'm not saying that who 'S right or who's wrong, I am saying That CNRP perhaps doesn't have true spirit to negotiate to resolve the crisis. They are doing it just to make it look like they have the spirit, Yet they still demand everything that they have been asking for. That' s not negotiation, -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cambodia Discussion (CAMDISC) - www.cambodia.org" group. This is an unmoderated forum.
