There are so many poor people who depends on natural resources as well as knowledge to advance their livrlihood further to feed themselves better. They are using the world:" Reducing poverty."* *Those things are being done with the international aids and some investment of the international community. CNRP has been saying that reducing corruption alone would be enough to pay their social security like benefits. * *Let us ask ourselves about the money that they would get back from corruption. Who brings that corrupted money into Cambodia to bribe Cambodian officials? That's right. Those investors who want to do business in Cambodia. Garment factories are prime example. When they stop those corruption, those investors will have to pay more money as well as spending more for their endeavor in Cambodia. Now, their profit will be very low. Will they continue to invest in Cambodia? Ofcourse not. they don't invest to loose. * *At the same time, they promise that they will increase their official salaries accross the board. Where can they get the money from to full fill that promise. Once again, they still have the disallusion that corruption alone is far more than what they want to spend. * *I don't see it. When they reduce corruption, the investment will be weaker. Who is going to loose?* *On the other hand, free trade is coming soon in Cambodia and their neighboring ASEAN countries. What are they going to win out of it?* *Look at America. Free trade allows so many things to leave America to Canada and especially Mexico. Billions of dollars now are pouring into Mexico and Canada. * *Fortunately, America has invented itself. Their innovation on Research and Development once again lead the world.
