Our late King Norodom Sihanouk left Marshal Lon Nol with poor military equipped 34,000 Khmer Arm force without good weapons to fight with more than 200,000 Khmer Vietminh, NVA + Vietcong + Khmer Rouge who had good quality Russian and Chinese weaponry. Some Khmer said Lon Nol made a coup d’état against our late King Norodom Sihanouk, it was NOT TRUE, there was not one gun shot on the 18th of March 1970. It was 93 of our late King Norodom Sihanouk Khmer members of Parliament themselves who gave the votes of no confidence to the late King, after he refused to return to Cambodia from Paris France, Moscow Russia, Beijing in China to help Marshal Lon Nol to push Vietnamese communists to get out of Khmer territory.
