Going to call this one complete. The only deprecated thing remaining is the
timestamp stuff in the file/ftp component. As a part of the removal of the
timestamp algorithm, I plan to add the ability to preserve state of what files
have been consumed. Will be creating a new JIRA for this since its kind of an
improvement.
