Unfortunately its spring which needs to change their code - there's
not really much we can do on our side of the fence I don't think.
Please vote for the issue - that might help encourage the Spring folks
to take a look. Also commenting on the JIRA might help. We've offered
to create a patch but so far they seem kinda distracted :(
