.. Yes I believe this was the gentleman. If you again read what he has done: he was making images with a Kodak scanner that had a resolution of 2400 sensors and compare this to today's high end digital cameras they are almost identical at around 4 mega pixels. I assume this is the count that has three colors considered as one pixel. If not it his sensor would be three times the resolution of modern area cameras. The Kodak scanner can most likely be found in the trash today. Present technology has about 10K photodiodes per color strip and this will double ( almost ) soon.
