Hi,
I had Krylon UltraFlat recommended to me and have used it sucessfully.
I would bake it an oven at 300 deg for an hour after it has dried .
This will give it a much harder finish. Then you can smooth the film
ways with some extra fine steel wool. My 2 cents.
