Hi:
I have never made an aperture scale, but you have started me to
thinking about it as the need could easily arise. It seems to me that you
would have to mathematically figure which apertures you wanted to mark. The
corresponding aperture diameters could then be transfered or measured with a
dial calipers if you had one, making marks on the shutter somewhere as you
go along. I think it important to note that for a focal length, you measure
your lens to film plane at infinity and pay no attention to the "marked"
focal length - this should take into account retrofocus wide angles and
telephotos. That is my "concept" of doing it. Thanks,
